Our Aim
Pekingese Rescue and Rehoming Rescue is a not-for-profit organization developed to rescue, rehabilitate, and find forever homes for Dogs of all ages. Without rescues like Pekingese Rescue, dogs are at risk of being euthanized in pounds across the country.
Our main purpose is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome as many dogs as we can, as well as offer Sanctuary and Palliative care to senior and sick dogs.
We also operate an adoption scheme for the protection of these dogs and, above all, to provide a last chance for a happy, secure, and loving home.

She’s approximately 4 years old and up to date on vaccinations and shots. Oriana came into the shelter extremely afraid. She did not want anyone near her for quite a long time. She took quite a while to come around to everyone here at the shelter. Oriana now loves everyone here and is super affectionate with us all! Our Dogs Are Carefully Cared For:
- At Pekingese Rescue and Rehoming Rescue, our dogs receive exceptional care from the moment they arrive. We ensure each mother is attentively feeding and tending to her puppies, supported by cozy heat warmers to keep them snug. Our team checks on them every few hours, with cameras providing round-the-clock monitoring for added peace of mind. As the puppies grow, we introduce them to children and cats to foster socialization, preparing them for loving homes. Before adoption, every puppy is dewormed and vaccinated, ensuring they’re healthy and ready for their forever families.
- All Puppies will receive deworming and vaccinations before they are placed in their forever homes.
- Before Delivery:
Approximately a week and a half before her due date, the mother will settle into her whelping box and create her nesting area. She receives special care, including calming music and white noise to help her relax. She is fed two nutritious meals daily, including milk, yogurt, and regular Puppy food. - Delivery:Our commitment at Pekingese Rescue and Rehoming Rescue through in the meticulous care we provide. We monitor each mother to ensure she’s nourishing her puppies, supplementing their comfort with heat warmers and constant observation via cameras. As they mature, we guide their socialization with kids and cats, building confidence for their future. Before they leave us, all puppies receive essential deworming and vaccinations—our promise that they’ll step into their new homes healthy, happy, and ready to bring joy.
